Aviv is a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native. She began focusing her practice on legal issues concerning the elderly after the illness and death of both her parents. Navigating the confusing issues surrounding health care, estate planning, and the effects of the death of a loved one made Aviv want to become an elder law attorney to help other families through this difficult process.

About Aviv Bliwas

Aviv received her undergraduate degree at Tulane University and graduated law school from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. She passed the state bar exam in California and began practicing family law in 2009 before returning to Pennsylvania to take care of her sick parents. She passed the state bar of Pennsylvania in 2010 and worked in the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Pennsylvania State Treasury from 2010 until opening her own practice in March 2012. Aviv Bliwas is licensed to practice before the Veterans Administration. Her education and her time working as a licensed attorney in both California and Pennsylvania have given her experience in the following areas:
